I started working as a freelance video stringer for The Weather Channel in January of 2002. I cover the St. Louis, MO area. These are a couple of the first clips that I submitted to them.

I use a Sony MiniDV camera to shoot the footage, then I use Adobe Premiere to capture and edit the clips and export to MPEG-2 via the Ligos LSX-MPEG encoder. Finally, I FTP the clips to thier server over my cable internet connection. HOME
